Fusion is seeking a supply chain assistant with strong execution and organizational skills to help manage supply chain operations in Asia and the United States, and support the company’s government tenders and procurement business.
This position covers the entire workflow from procurement, supplier coordination, product development support, production tracking to logistics and transportation management. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and coordination skills and be able to effectively manage costs, delivery time, and quality in a fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities

Procurement and Supplier Management: Responsible for coordinating procurement from suppliers in Asia (China, Taiwan, Vietnam, Southeast Asia) and the United States, handling quotations, cost analysis, purchase orders, and communicating with suppliers regarding prices, delivery dates, and production status.

Product development, production and quality support: Coordinate Tech Packs, Material Development and Prototype Production; Track Sample Confirmation, Production Progress and Delivery Dates; Assist in Quality Control and Problem Improvement.

Logistics and transportation (essential condition): Coordinate international and US transportation (sea freight, air freight, truck delivery, etc.) with freight forwarders and carriers to arrange shipments and track progress; process shipping documents (bill of lading, invoices, packing lists); and support basic import/export and customs clearance operations.

Government procurement support: Assist government procurement in coordinating with US suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and compliance with regulations (Buy American, Berry, TAA, DFARS, etc.).

Systems and Data Management: Use AI tools and ERP systems to track purchasing and logistics, analyze supplier performance and cost data, and maintain data accuracy.
Qualification Requirements
Necessary conditions:
-
5+ years of experience in supply chain/procurement/logistics
-
Familiar with Asian supply chain operations; coordination with local US suppliers; transportation and logistics management (required)

Possesses knowledge of shipping processes and documentation; experience in production processes and sample tracking

Language skills: fluent in Mandarin Chinese (required); strong English communication skills

Familiar with ERP systems and basic AI tools

Demonstrates strong communication and negotiation skills; excellent organizational and execution abilities; strong team spirit
Bonus points conditions:

Experience in government or defense supply chains

Familiarity with industrial products, textiles, or safety equipment

Understanding of quality management and import/export processes

Excellent Japanese language skills
